When I cook, I like to add extra flavors on the fly. Corned beef and cabbage seems like a perfect candidate (or is that sacrilegious?) Do you throw any extra ingredients to the mix, or do you prefer the tried and true recipe?

This year we ended up adding a little whiskey, coffee, horseradish, and beef stock to the initial broth. It smells good now, hopefully the taste will match!
